Today’s destination is Girvan which is a modest sized town, according to the waitress at the King’s Arms Hotel and 10 miles of ‘difficult’ walking from here, according to the map/guidebook.
But it’s not so warm today and there is a cool refreshing breeze off the sea this morning.
I’m on the beach just north of Leandalfoot, about halfway to Girvan.
Hobbled into Girvan in one piece. Skin is inflamed from yesterday’s sunburn and blistered feet make moving very difficult.
